😊@🌳Brenavere🌳 I have a stylus too but I prefer to use my finger. I got used to it & I feel like I have more control, but I may try it later. This is how I created my crayon colors- first I made a brand new solid color in ‘My Palettes’> then I tapped that color on a drawing I don’t want to use> then I clicked on crayons on that drawing> then I pressed on the new color and it made a crayon with my new color under Recents> then I went back to this picture & used the new crayon. Is this what you do?😊

Yes, that is exactly what I do for new crayon colors. I used my finger for a couple of months but could not get a fine line. I have a stylus that is like a pencil point rather than a soft rubber tip as big as an eraser. I can get some nice lines for writing with it that I could never manage with my big fat clumsy finger. Lol

Oh my stylus is the size of an eraser. Is your stylus the Apple Pencil? Or do you have a different stylus? I’m pretty sure this iPad can’t connect to the Apple Pencil. So if you have a different stylus with a pencil point, I’d love to know what kind and where you got it. Thanks! 🥰❤️📱🖊 @🌳Brenavere🌳

I do not have an Apple Pencil, won’t work with my iPad either, plus they are way expensive. I have two and use both. One is a Meko, looks just like a pen with a tiny super hard rubber tip, works fantastic, I’m so spoiled and rarely use my finger anymore. It does have a charger but I have never run it down to where it won’t work...works for like 30 hours...well, heck, before 30 hours I am charging it while I sleep, so it always always works.

The other one is a capacitive stylus, so it never needs charging which is really nice and I can get a finer line with it. It has this odd clear disk that is attached to the tip and it moves to angle any way it needs to against the iPad, I am not sure what the purpose is but it took a little getting used to. I resisted getting one like that but there were so many that looked that way, I thought there must be some advantage.

I like not having to charge it and that I can get a straighter, thinner line using it. I can’t remember what the brand was, but I got it at Target. The Meko I ordered off Amazon. Most of the Meko styli I saw on Amazon also have that clear disk, which is not to be removed. Both of them were $25 or less.

I have had a Wacom also. I don’t recommend that one as it wore out quickly for me and began skipping when I tried to use it. I will probably keep trying different kinds and next time I am going to get another Meko with the clear disk...which also comes with 4 replacement tips (with disks).... I can’t remember how much they are but not that expensive, in my opinion. I mean if you can afford an iPad you can probably afford one of these, although I am all about saving money whenever possible! Lol

I think you would find many aspects to coloring on Recolor a more fun experience with a stylus that works for you. I find that those fat rubber ones as big as an eraser are impossible to use on Recolor because they are in the way and you can’t see what your are doing. You could research them on Amazon and see the multitude that are available....makes shopping for one a little difficult! Lol

Thank you very much for your fantastic descriptions of the different styli! ❤️😀❤️ I am definitely going to get one! I always thought the only way to get a fine point was with an Apple Pencil. I am so glad I talked to you! You are wonderful! Thank you❣️🤗❤️📲🖊❤️💐 @🌳Brenavere🌳
