Firstly, I wanted to say I am really busy right now and will be until June 15th so I don’t know how much I’ll be on Recolor. If I am, I may be doing more templates or simpler pictures. Secondly, I saw a GI dr today who is very specialized. He believes it is much more likely that I have a biliary issue where bile is backing up in my bile ducts into my liver or pancreas rather than autoimmune hepatitis. This is what I think, as well, from everything I’ve read and in looking at all my test results.

For now though, still no pain since the pancreatitis and my last tests results showed normal enzyme levels so we wait and see. If I have to have surgery down the road, I would probably choose this dr. He really knows what he’s talking about and has done 2500 of these surgeries. I visited Mom today too and she is holding her own. I am so thankful to have more time with her.

Thanks for the update! Sounds less serious right? Hoping this is something you can manage and prayers for no surgery. Happy you found this guy!

Glad that you found a doctor you comfortable with. That’s so important. Hopefully, you won’t have to undergo surgery but if you do it should give you comfort that this physician has performed so many surgeries of this type. Also, glad to hear your mother is holding her own. 🌹🙏🌹🙏🌹

@Debbie Wells I could have a lower quality of life if it’s sphincter of Oddi dysfunction if I end up having pain all the time, debilitating pain, and/or many surgeries. In the Fb support group I’m in, this is what their life is like for many people but I am determined in my mind that that won’t be me lol!

Oh dear i'll pray for you. I stand by what I said if you need help. And I just got done with pancreatic cancer. So it's good to catch it now then it turned into cancer I know too many people at such as my brother and two close friends that passed from it. So good thing you got this doctor and get it done ASAP. I'll continue to pray for you. I love you my friend. Remember what I said. If you need part of mine I will give it to you. oh & beautiful pic. i'll leave something for you. please use it!
