We need some positive energy.
Well, I was finally out smarted by a scammer. I am so careful, but we were trying to buy something via FB Market place. I was sent what looked like a very legit eBay payment page and explanation as to why eBay gift cards were the required method. I was scammed out of $1,000.00! eBay could recover only $27.00 for me.
I feel so stupid! But, I need to move on. I did confront the "seller" when they tried to get more funds.

1 month agoThanks for the support too. Being a person who has never experienced "Unconditional love," I am looking for Michael to be the same way. We spoke again last night and I think he's convincing me he isn't like the others. I need to quit sabotaging myself. Trust is so hard.

Yes, in the Word, the center, it says, “Do not put your trust in man, but trust Him”! Move on and be glad it wasn’t more $ that you lost! You see, you were too smart the second round!🤗❤️🤗

1 month agoI’ve learned that everything you see on Facebook, Instagram and most other social media platforms are scams. What I do now is go to Google and check on the company or product. You will always see a link from a Scam verification organization that can tell you immediately. Or you can look them up in the better business bureau - it took me several stupid moves to finally learn my lesson. Facebook is the worst of them all with Instagram close behind

1 month agoYes, I do what Karen does. I check to see if it’s legit on Google. I trust no one anymore. It’s so sad it comes to this. I always worry about my mom. She has constant scams. Luckily she’s been pretty savvy about it, but it just takes one time. I won’t even use a debit card anymore. I can’t tell you how many times it’s been compromised. I’m sorry you lost money. Your picture, however, is stunning.

1 month agoSorry to hear that Tracy, but sometimes we all learn the hard way! Good people just don’t think like these criminals do and they know that. That’s the advantage these scammers have! This is the phrase that I also had to learn the hard way, but works for me now, ”Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!”
