1 year agoSo today, and for a while honestly, i have been thinking about kindness and what we can do to spread it. Kindness is something that is very important to me, and in my opinion is what holds this world together- small acts of kindness, what we can do for others. But another thing I was thinking of is how one tiny thing you do for someone else can seem super big to them- whether that includes being kind or not. Many people are leaving Recolor right now because of the lack of kindness and honestly-

1 year agoIt really sucks. I have made some really good friends on this app and now it feels like they are all leaving because of this lack of kindness I have been talking about on a lot of my posts. Honestly y’all, it doesn’t take much to be kind, but it takes a lot to be mean. The majority of people on this app look at art for a bit and comment “pretty” or “beautiful” and don’t really think about it. And when the artist of the picture sees that is makes them feel good. And it didn’t take much thought.

1 year agoBut saying rude or negative things does take a lot of thought. You have to really think about what your going to say and think about how it will make the artist feel. The old saying is “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say it at all” and I think that really applies right now especially. Another thing I think everyone really needs to take into consideration is someone’s home life. I was thinking about that too lately after I babysat yesterday. 1 year agoMy point is that there is one person in particular that I think really understands this and that is @𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘵𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒆𝒔BIO she is truthfully the kindest and most understanding/caring person on this app. Idk how to really explain it but I feel like I can talk to her about anything and everything whether it’s a problem or just something exciting or random and I want to talk to her. She is also the most genuinely forgiving person ever and I have personally seen her forgive ppl that have been unkind to

1 year agoher. Even when she is having a not so great day she will put her problems aside to help anyone else that even mentions that they might be sad. She has also taken a lot of hate for expressing her feelings and I think that is very very unfair considering how much she helps others 24/7. Glory isn't just the best person ever feelings and guidance wise, she is also H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S!! She will make you feel better just by making jokes or just by basically talking to her.

1 year agoIn conclusion I really hope this somewhat made sense because it’s super important to me and just wanted to everyone how amazing she is and if you ever feel like you need to talk to someone and don’t feel like anyone understands, talk to glory. She is the most truly empathetic person I have ever met. I have no idea what I would do without you glory!! Ilysm queen!! 💕✨

1 year agowoww 🤩 SPECTACULAR 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖i think i really relate to what your saying. A new friend I met, joy, left because she felt like everyone was mad at her and was taking a lot of hate. this seemed super super horrible. I dislike watching people take hate and feel sad, especially about themselves. Glory also has gotten some hate and I really don’t understand why. ☹️ I know she doesn’t deserve it. I agree with everything you said about her. She was my first real friend on this app. Love you glory! 🤗☺️

1 year agoOmg Ava Queen I absolutely agree with everything you’re saying 🥺🫶 we should always every time choose kindness 😭 you are so right, people don’t know what is going on in someone’s life and to spread hate is just going to make things so much worse 🤧💞 rc is about being kind and commenting on peoples art, the fact that people make it a place for bu||ying is so not ok 🥺 just as much as kind words, cruel words stick with us and that anyone would want to bring someone down makes me really sad honestly 😭

1 year agoWow!! That was quite emotional for me 🥺 I relate to so many things u said. I love how u expressed everything, it feels like it came right from ur heart and Yes, u r so right about the lack of kindness. People don't understand how much things can affect someone, RC is an escape for a lot of people and it helps them to cope with things they might be dealing with. It's really sad that some are spoiling the positivity of the community. I do hope they realise it and stop spreading unnecessary hate.
