2 years agoI just saw or rather remembered to look for your response ... older than me ... cool! More experience to share. I am with you being the opposite of every conditioned notion pumped into my head. I still have moments, but, I try to catch it and remind myself we as Americans are conditioned to see people in stereotypes.

They don't know the KKK came out of black people being successful after the Civil War ... so these hate filled folks formed a group and burned down, destroyed and murdered the growth of black human beings. We are conditioned to see certain people in a certain way. It seems to be a human flaw to always blame the victim.

2 years ago@TracyNWOregon🌲 “history” in the United States is so so whitewashed! I know I believed what I was taught at school and at home and did not realize how ingrained racism is in our system and (hard to admit) myself. I’ve recently (in the past 5 ish years) been able to get my parents to see some of this.
