August 2, 2018 -🌹 Thursday A - Z with Addicted Canadian. Thank you for hosting. This week the letter is ‘F’. F = Fish. This is a blowfish. There are many blowfish with different colors. They are part of the Tetraodontidae family. There are over 120 known species. For defense they inflate themselves with water. Most species contain poison. They are considered a delicacy in Korea and Japan, despite being poisonous. They can range in size from 1 in. up to 2 ft. 🌹

5 years ago🌹They like to eat algae, crustaceans, mollusks, and red worms. Blowfish can live 5 - 10 years. YES THIS IS HIS MOUTH. ITS UNREAL HOW HUMAN IT LOOKS. ITS ONE REASON I COLORED HIM.🌹

5 years agoBlowfish 🐡. Luv it and appreciate the introductory comments. Know in Japan that they serve a dish called Fugu that is made from a blowfish/pufferfish of the same name. If prepared and cooked incorrectly it can be lethally poisonous because it contains tetrodotoxin. In Restaurants in Japan only chefs who have qualified after 3 years of rigorous training are allowed to prepare Fugu. 💛💖🧡💙

5 years agoThank you! I wanted to type much more, also including something like you typed, but I ran out of characters. So much interesting facts about Blowfish. My hubby and I catch a ton of these in the gulf here in Florida! They are fun I think, but aggravating when we’re really trying to catch other types of fish. We catch n release only. @Maurice
