4 years agoHello dear Glen. You e been on my mind but I didn’t want to bother you. I know how terrible you must feel. I lost my wonderful husband in 1989, when I was 40 years old. He was 41 and was in a car accident. I was so shocked and devastated, that I could hardly function. Our 3 children were 7, 11, and 15. My parents and my church were a big help to us back then, but nothing really “helps”. All I wanted was to see him walk in the door again. Losing a spouse is like having a big hole in your

4 years ago........heart that you can never fill no mater how hard you try. I’m glad to hear you are going to a grief group. I did that, too, and if anything helped, that seemed to. I wanted to talk and talk about him, and some people don’t understand that, but in that group where everyone lost a spouse, I felt I could pour my heart out and that helped me. It also helped me to know that we’d be together again some day. The pain will become less and less but won’t ever go away completely. God Bless.
