Part 1, my readers. It's just the prologue, so please give any feedback. The dream was so intense, it felt like real life. He stood next to the Eiffel Tower, looking up at the twinkling city lights. She was next to him, holding his hand. He looked down at her, smiling. As she turned to face him, she slapped him in the face. "YOU WERE A TERRIBLE PERSON! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!" she roared, wresting her hand out of his grip. He watched her go, an expression of mingled sadness and grief spread across his face.  And Gabriel Agreste woke up, wide-eyed and sweating. He looked at the digital clock next to his head. It read 2:17 AM. He brushed his hair back from his face, wiping his forehead with the sheets. Emilie had looked so real in the dream. He thought back to how she'd been knocked unconscious, that night back at the dojo. Gabriel hadn't set the fire. One of his old friends, Marsielle, had attempted to steal the Miraculous box. He had stolen the peacock and moth Miraculous to delay her, and he and Emilie barely escaped with their lives. They took off to Paris, where they would be safe.  Where their unborn baby boy would be safe. He poured a glass of water, quietly pacing the huge mansion. Adrien was sleeping peacefully. He had checked on him before he'd gone to bed. After Emilie had gotten hurt in the incident two years ago, he'd done his best to try to make his son happy. Gabriel wished he didn't have to become a villain, but he wanted Adrien to be happy. He wanted Emilie back. He wanted a family.  The next morning, Adrien's alarm clock went off. "Ughhhhh." he complained, shoving a pillow over his face. Patrol had been easy last night, but he'd gone off for a bit on his own. He needed to calm down. Every time there was an attack, Adrien was terrified. He never showed it, but he was scared to fight. No one could really understand the life of a superhero. Constant attacks and battles. Each one could be his last. Having to dodge lethal, or even fatal, weapons and powers. His suit was nearly indestructible, but his body wasn't.

(it's happening in real time so the characters are still the same age and the plot applies too)
