@β¨πβ¨πβ‘οΈSherryβ‘οΈπβ¨πβ¨ @πrubyjoodsπ @Melanie @aurora thank you all so much for your kind words. This was the second time I dreamt she was still here. It was so real. I was so sad when I realized she wasnβt. I made a picture to color, so Iβd remember later. Iβm still having a tough time with the grief. I think itβs going to take me awhile. She was so special to me.

Beautiful. I know the dream well. It's both sad & oddly comforting.

I wake up feeling pressure on my legs where my cat you to sleep and I stay still to feel it. I also feel like he jumped into bed. I look my others cats are sound asleep. I had Rodney for 20 years. It is a horrible heartbreak.

@Sandy youβre so right about that. Itβs such an odd combination of simultaneously feeling joy and heartbreak. It always seems to blindside me. Thank you so much for your kind words. I have to tell yβall how much I appreciate your support & it really makes a big difference in trying to get through this grief. πππ€β¨ππ·

@β¨πβ¨πβ‘οΈSherryβ‘οΈπβ¨πβ¨ during the years that I worked full time, I always had kitties. Several of those years I was on my own, and those little fur balls were my entire world. Most of them lived well into their teens and when they passed it was so heartbreaking. To lose Rodney after 20 years must have been devastating & Iβm so sorry. Ppl probably say he had a good long life, true, but a bond like that for that long makes it so much harder to endure the loss. Many human relationships donβt survive 20

years, right? Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I found it fascinating and also very comforting. I am so grateful and blessed for discovering this app where Iβve found some of the most amazing and kind friends ever. This is my new βHappy Placeβ, so far no hate speech or drama. No doubt itβs out there, but I think maybe less in a community of artists where itβs more about admiring the beauty in others. So beautiful πππβ¨π·

Gorgeous and so sorry for your loss! It will take time to get over your loss. No one can tell you how to grieve or how long. Losing a person, pet or friend is a loss no matter how anyone looks at it. Stay strong it will get better with time but the memory will always be there. πππ½πΉ

@SasciSenior π§ΏπΉπβ thank you so much for your kindness. It will. Iβve had many pets pass before her and shed many tears for them also. I think this is more difficult because Iβve been housebound since October of 2020. She was always right with me, never more than a few feet away & usually was sitting on my feet. She had such an entertaining little personality, so animated. I miss that so much. Her adorable expressions & silly antics brought me so much joy. Making pictures of her help me heal ππ

@KFair πππππππinfpt You're very welcome dear π Believe me I understand! I've been disabled since 2012 and my baby is always up under me. He so sad when I leave the house, I see it in his eyes when I'm getting dressed. He's older now and I dread the day He's no longer with me. I have lost others but none had been with me 24/7. ππΉ
