HEY!
for those of yall wanting some sort of art tips from me here’s some BASICS!!
this is just a bunch of tips I’ve learned the past years of me drawing stuff
PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL!
this is just the way I do things, may not be the best way for you & that’s totally fine!
Today is just some lil art tips I think may help yall!
Lemme know what kinds of future tutorials yall want to see!
e.g. faces, coloring, hair, etc.

3 years ago1. Draw frequently, the more practice the better you’ll be!
2. Draw what YOU like! Don’t let stinky ppl tell u what they think you should be drawing, draw what you enjoy!
3. ONLY COMPARE YOURSELF TO YOUR PAST SELF, you’re the best you can be rn and that’s AMAZING
4. COLOR PALETTES! im still trying be good at this one lol, just be sure to always have a palette in mind before coloring!
5. DONT SHADE WITH PURE BLACK it looks muddy, use a purple or blue instead!

3 years ago6. DONT USE PURE WHITE!! always use like an off white, it doesn’t look as natural if it’s pure white
7. Color Your Lineart! I feel like this ALWAYS looks more natural & I JUST STARTED DOING THIS HAHA IT HELPS I SWEAR
8. Experiment with layer modes if you’re digital! I can go into more depth with these later if y’all want!
9. If you see something another artist is doing that you like, TAKE INSPO FROM IT!! I know I’ve done this HAH
10. PHOTO REFERENCES ARE YOUR FRIENDS!! it’s not cheating lol

ahh the transition from traditional to digital is always kinda weird lol
just remember to take it slow & that it’s okay not to know how to do everything digitally yet, you’ll figure out how stuff works best for you along the way~!! 🥰 best of luck!!
