I made my own version of ZENTANGLE with repeating patterns of lines, curves, circles and dots on her dress. Just to show you can turn something into another style of “doodling”. I also discovered that ribs hate you when you disturb their order. I went to ER, then Dr., because I fell and reinsured. Guess I will learn someday. Going to do prayer request page next. Blessings. Love and hugs. Cyndee. I will check back in a day or 2. Hard to hold iPad. It will get better... in time❤️

2 years agoHi Cyndee....hope you feel better! I have broke ribs and never knew it until later with X-rays and Drs saying I’ve had broke them at one time. I have issues with my floating rib and have broke a rib coughing this past year!! Crazy.....dang getting old! I never knew what this style was called but now I see that I do it often!! You see RC ‘s pics are meant to be fairly easy to color and with repeating patterns, it is conducive to using gradients. And the patterns give the pic depth so end result is very pretty. Example Mandalas have a very precise repeating pattern, where traditional Zentangle is described as controlled doodling. So many RC pieces fit that description. And I am challenged with more detail.❤️ Cynd

I draw lil extras dots and dashes and squiggles etc on my rc pieces to help them look a lil better....I think anyways lol so that’s what I was talking about but I have done rc ones that were challenging!!
