“Nostalgia” For me when December rolls around it always brings back memories from the past and also trying to carry traditions that my family made into the present… hopefully creating something that I can now share with others dear to me. December has always been a packed month not only with the holidays, as my birthday is dangerously close to Christmas, along with many other events.

As I am attempting to decorate for the holidays, which included me trying to hang and fix some lights outside in the rain (and I wonder why my health gets worse) to create a Winter Wonderland idea in Houston. Snow brings back, mostly, happy times of building snowmen, sledding off the roof of my grandparents house (as the snow drifts would get so high), skiing and so many more… What are your favorite memories?

We have 5 birthdays in December, going from the 4th to the 24th, two of them being my children and my husband's birthday is the beginning of January. I wouldn't decorate for Christmas until we celebrated their birthdays. I didn't want to lump them together. I had a lot of fun and miss the hectic days leading up to Christmas after their birthday parties. Thanks for the memories
