4 years ago@Nysakasam I’m so grateful to hear you have self quarantined! Especially with pre-pneumonia in your left lung. I’m sooo glad you sought medical guidance and are now medicated. I keep hearing that many Coronavirus cases quickly turn into serious pneumonia. Hope your husband is doing alright also
My husband and I are still fine. I am diabetic and self quarantined myself in my home. Haven’t been out of the house as of 3 weeks tomorrow. We live in a 100% tourist town on Oak Island NC.

4 years agoThree days ago our mayor ordered that all visitors, renters, friends of owners etc must leave our island within 2 days. No renters are allowed to return until further notice. Only year round owners that live here are allowed on the island. Now our little beach town is really empty! But our little Food Lion on the island is still EMPTY shelv. We ourselves have plenty of food. I’ve always been a slight food hoarder since I grew up the oldest of 5 kid and my mom always stocked tons of food! 😘

4 years ago@sissy We, too, have been staying home except for trips to the grocery and several times we went for a ride down our river road just to get out of the house, but we stayed in the car. We got an alert today though that TOLD us to stay home. Seems we may be the next hot spot, numbers of cases doubled overnight. Ed so far awesome is doing great, except for his usual digestive problems! I have a thirty one year old nephew who lives wit us that is a bit of a concern. He’s been on sick leave because

4 years ago@sissy of a kidney stone which -passed last night, so he’ll be going back to work soon. He’s works in the banking industry, but with this pandemic that may be even worse. I don’t know what kind of precautions they are taking at his work place. I’m concerned for him, because like My husband, he has a weak immune system. All we can do is pray and be as wise as we can be. So many are in harm’s way. I have a niece that is a nurse. Her main concern is bringing something home to her family,

4 years agoWe also have plenty of food. being retired military, we were paid once a month and learned to buy everything in Bulk. Old habits die hard. We have a very large store of food. Our groceries here still have plenty of food, but the shelves are half empty. Certain items disappeared immediately. I will remember to pray for all of you that are in places where commodities are not so attainable. I’ve heard that we should pray for a heat wave since this virus cannot survive high temps.
