Scarlett tries to pull away. "I can't let you see anything else.. Please Jake.." she keeps crying, her voice shaking.
He looks at her and sighs. "Why are you ashamed?" He asks in a deep voice.
"Why are you afraid..I love you either way..why back away from these feelings..just because of one thing you believe you did wrong? You caused no harm, you didn't kill her Scarlett."
She looks down with fear in her eyes as her hands begin to shake ferociously "I..I..d-" she stops and looks away...

4 years ago"I can't tell you my life story Jake..I can't tell you what I've done to find my freedom.."
He starts to stare at Scarlett in shock
"Is..did you..? Scarlett..that doesn't matter..even if you did..I st-"
Scarlett stops Jake from talking "DONT TELL ME YOU LOVE ME! YOU CANT I FORBID IT!!!"
He looks down, wanting to tell her it's ok..to hold her close, but he understands it isn't time.
He backs away slowly, his voice shaking. "Ok..I'll go.."

Jake begins to walk away and proceeds to drive home
Scarlett goes inside and walks up to her room, slamming the door with frustration. Her arms still red and scarred from what her mother had done to her before she died.
"It hurts..why did you have to do this mother..why did you make me go this far." She starts to scream and covers her ears once again. She can hear her mother's slow, scary, trembling voice that makes her spine crawl.

4 years agoHer mom begins to speak "you can hear me, like every other ghost you can hear, you freak, I should have gotten rid of you when I had the chance."
Scarlett feels her mother's hands touch her and she flinches in fear
Her mom speaks again and laughs in a wicked, nonchalant manner "you can't escape me Scarlett, you never will."
