The theme of this contest was angel, so I decided to choose a raw, real image. I felt that she is, well, an angel. In reality, we all say things like "She/he's an angel". Today, the word "angel" is looked at as something similar to beautiful, stunning, amazing, and practically perfect. I'm sure at least once in your life you've heard others, or yourself, being called an angel. Some may not agree, but I think that all people are angels. Not physically of course, but figuratively.

In a way where it means despite what color you are, what your body shape or however you may look, you are an angel. You're beautiful, strong, and inspiring. Hence, I chose this image because it shows true beauty, without filters, photoshop, or plastic surgery. It's a pure image. I wanted to show the beauty of imperfections through this photo.
