Tuesday beautiful bird challenge hosted by our beautiful friend Susan Bird, thanks Susan. Thank everyone for stopping by my gallery & for your lovely comments. Sorry Susan, Iโm not sure what kind of bird this is. Maybe an Egret or some type of Heron or possibly a Stork ๐บ
What gorgeous red crowned cranes, Diane! Beautiful coloring! The red-crowned crane (aka Manchurian or Japanese crane) is among the rarest cranes in the world. These birds often find one partner and mate for life. When a couple is together, they use their long windpipes to vocalize with a unison call, strengthening their bond. They also mate by dancing or gracefully leaping into the air. Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture and joining the Beautiful Bird Challenge.
