This is really an amazing picture. The skin tone and shading, along with your matching background enhances his serious demeanor. I wonder what his story is.......

@donnalu You are welcome. I've been so preoccupied with some difficult things, I haven't been myself. This morning I had a talk with my mom. She sounded the best I've heard her since my dad passed. It really put me in a good mood. I wanted to pass along my emotions with all of you. I'm tearing from what you wrote. Feels so good to leave the boundaries in our minds. So awesome. I will not forget what you wrote. πŸŒΉπŸ’•πŸŒΉ

From the lines between his brows, it looks to me like this gentleman has had a history of lots of responsibility and some sad, difficult times which he is remembering. BUT he has meet those challenges headon and is thankful that with God’s help, he knows that HE HAS OVERCOME❀️

@Mary Bradshaw You see things as I do in my heart. His demise is a tragedy. 4 years older than me with a 12 year old daughter. I'll write you more on the side. He is / was one of my hero's. πŸŒΉπŸ’•πŸŒΉ

@Dixie @sweetpea @Heavenbound πŸŒΈπŸ’•πŸŒΉ There is a story behind this man. He's a father of three from two wives. His oldest daughter has been singing and has a fantastic voice. If you don't recognize him, and I wouldn't think many would from my artwork, he is Chris Cornell. He grew up in Washington with his brother and father. His mother left due to the rage his father would demonstrate when drinking. The stories speak of his father beating his brother and him regularly. He started playing drums, but

soon realized he liked guitar. He played in many bands covering others songs and was extremely depressed and wanted something more. This is the early 80's. He soon became friends with artists that would break out into what's known as the Seattle Scene. Most of us know it by the term grunge. In an interview, he told the reporter that those in the scene never coined that term, but rather the media did. The bands didn't quite understand it, but went with it because the phenomenon was bursting.
