In 2016, Barbie released an all-female ticket with a president and vice president doll set to inspire girls to believe they can be anything - including leader of the free world.
In 1995, Firefighter Barbie showed girls they could be everyday heroes. With her yellow firefighter uniform and helmet, girls could imagine putting out fires and saving the day.
In 1989, Barbie prepared for take-off at a time when very few women were in the pilot seat. Barbie soared to new elevations in her pink pilot outfit, showing girls the sky’s the limit when you’re free to believe.
In 1975, Barbie competed for her home country. Barbie came dressed in a patriotic red, white, and blue uniform with a gold medal around her neck so girls could play out their dreams of winning big. The Barbie team also included an ice skater, a ski jumper, and a track & field runner.
In 1965, Barbie went galactic four years before man landed on the moon. Miss Astronaut Barbie celebrated the excitement of the space program and exploring new frontiers. Dressed in a cool space suit and helmet, she showed girls they could reach for the stars.
