It was not the most pleasant thing being bitten by a 4 ft long California King snake but since I have been around them forever *thanks to my brothers* I had no fear of a non poisonous one. Think she was hungry when my brother handed her to me and she latched on to my right index finger. We all stood there just staring, kind of in shock, lol. I made my bro pull her off my finger, and THAT was brutal as she had serrated teeth, like a steak knife! 😬

4 years ago@photobert LOL, no, they are non poisonous and not usually aggressive. I was probably in my late 30’s, maybe early 40’s. When we were little I never got bitten by one. It really wasn’t horrible, not pleasant either. And no one freaked out, in fact we were all smiling, even me. But behind the smile, I was telling my brother, Brent, to get her the heck off my finger, lol. One lasting effect is that I never quite got the feeling back in that small spot on my finger. No big deal!
