Hi, I hope everyone's doing well and staying safe. I want to start a conversation here and I don't know if how many of you are going to actually take the time to read this but if I get to at least one of you I'll be satisfied. I was just scrolling through the recent posts as always do admiring you guy's work and I saw someone post a beautifully colored picture and when I go to comment on it I see this person is upset because they're not getting the amount of likes they would like to get and feeling discouraged

I scroll through all of the categories every day and I see a lot of you if not most of you counting likes and follows and begging to get more setting goals to get on the popular section, making all sorts of contest to get a certain amount of likes and maybe a follow from the host and At the en of the day what do these inauthentic likes and follows for the sake of following to make some number go up get you? Nothing that's the only answer, nothing.

So people, I beg you please stop with this behavior. Just color your pictures the way you want to, like the pictures you actually like, follow the people you want to follow, because you genuinely like what they're doing, because you want to be inspired by them, because you're friends with for whatever the reason you want to do it but don't do it just to make some number go up.

This is just a coloring book, for people to relax color and share art that is that, if you're coloring and sharing pictures just to get those likes then don't do it, go ahead and find something that you actually enjoy.

If you actually like what you're doing it doesn't matter if others like it, if it goes to the top of the popular page or if it never makes there at all. I don't know about you but I'd rather get one like from that one person that saw my picture and really really liked it than get thousands of likes just because.

I totally agree! While it is nice to get likes, if you don't enjoy it, what's the point. You should do it for you
