5 years agoI’m alive as you can tell, we were released to go home. I ride the bus. We were driving through super deep floodwaters because it’s storming SO BAD. We got into our neighborhood, but the driver couldn’t drop me and my brother off because the water was too high at our street. So she dropped off as many kids as she could and stopped at the corner of a street and told us to call our parents. My phone was dead. I had to borrow someone else’s and my mom said she was almost there. But the (limit)

5 years agoBus driver said that she couldn’t wait any more because the water was getting higher. A HUGE lightning bolt struck, with LOUD thunder right after. We all screamed. I was so SCARED!! I thought we were going to die and, I’ll admit, I started crying. We started making our way to the front of the neighborhood. We were about to leave, then I saw my mom’s car driving up! Me and my bro had to walk through SHIN DEEP water to get there. My dad isn’t here yet, but the water at the front of (limit again)

5 years agoMy neighborhood is so high, and he drives a low car. I don’t think he’ll even be able to get into our CITY! Hopefully he can at least find a way to get into the neighborhood to spend the night at my cousin’s house. AND ITS SUPPOSED TO RAIN FOR FIVE MORE DAYS!! I’m willing to bet that we won’t have school at least tomorrow. But I’m home, safe, and charging my phone as well as one of those portable chargers in case the power goes out. Thank you all for your concern!!!
