Yes, well, we are a fairly resilient bunch here and YES, I remember you are in Ohio!!! Cold there? It is here, and I am loving it for now...the summer was awful in Central Texas, ugh!

3 years ago@🌳Brenavere🌳 Yeah, like I said, it’s not so bad. Handsome man, lots of movies, cooking, and other things couples do. I agree. If a new couple can make thru this, anything. My therapy dog, Willow, is recovering for a bad infection, almost lost all of her fur. She’s a shih tzu so you can imagine what she looked like. My other puppy, Kaya passed at 13 a couple months ago. My ex had her so I couldn’t even see her.

3 years ago@🌳Brenavere🌳 My mom has my step dad. Great man. My two sisters live in Ohio and Florida. Sees good for now, but I’m already seeing a decl8ne, especially on Skype. It’s heartbreaking

3 years agoOh, wow, I just had a dear friend lose his pet from the same thing...lost all her fur, he spent thousands trying to help her, but she succumbed, she was over 10 yrs. old. Poor Willow (cool name!) Kaya, lived a long life, tells me she was happy and well cared for... I dig dogs so much more than people, lol. Not proud of that actually, lol. MY dog, and this is weird, will be 12 in February, and her name is Kiya (pronounced Kee-yah). How similar to Kaya...is that pronounced KI-YAH? I bet....

3 years ago...you are still missing that pup like crazy. So sorry, Ginger, truly! My little dog is my best friend, and totally a therapy dog. I fear the day she is gone, she is the tiny love of my life.

3 years ago@🌳Brenavere🌳 Yep. That’s how you pronounce it. She was a Morkie and so smart. Willow is named Willow Rose after a Buffy the vampire slayer character. And yes I’m happier with animals than people. I’m with you on that one. Lol. Willow has been on meds for 7 weeks. Almost done. About 80% of fur is back. She’s acting like a puppy again. She’s been thru so much. Losing my ex, moving to a new place, none of things for a year. Losing Kaya then being sick. She’s a trooper

3 years agoSo good to talk to you, catch up. I hope your holidays are as nice as can be and I hope your mom will not be alone. My parents have been ‘gone’ for 20 years and my parents in law for 5. My mom in law passed 5 years ago on Dec. 9. That was a really hard Christmas for sure. I’m glad they are all gone, the state of our world would have worried them to no end. Take care, I’ll try to be better at getting over to your gallery! I’ve just been awful lately commenting and visiting and even coloring!

3 years agoOh, about Willow! She certainly IS a trooper! and so deserving of special attention right now! Feel sorry for her losing her buddy. Thats good news that 80% of her fur is back! She had to have been so miserable, sweet thing! She's lucky to have ya! I'll check more of ur gallery later. Am headed to Covid City today (Austin), totally masked and distancing while I run my errand!!!

I am not familiar with Stephen Ellsasser. I googled him....an attorney with political aspirations? If the same one, he is from El Paso which is 560 miles away from me. I am only 45 minutes from Austin. Big state, lol
