Gorgeous!!! I hope you love that soup. I don't recall what a recipe states, but I mix half reg and half hot Italian sausage. sausage, 6 slices diced bacon ... at half way cook mark, add 5 cloves chopped garlic and 1 lg chopped onion, salt &pepper. Cook down, then add 32oz Chicken stock and 3 lg sliced potatoes. I use a mandolin to slice mine. Cook/simmer about 90 minutes. Add baby spinach and 1 cup room temp heavy cream. Remove from heat, let cool, store and eat the next day.
