I usually will draw the outline of the butterfly in black first to make sure I like the shape, then Iโll fill it in with the main color, and shade with both a lighter shade of the same color & a darker shade. Then after that Iโll draw the lines within the butterfly & finally add dots. That probably wasnโt very helpful but thatโs all I got ๐

4 years ago@๐๐ฅ๐คHeyITsShrey๐ค๐ฅ๐CONTEST Iโll start out drawing a diagonal line dividing the top & bottom of the wing (which has 3 small dots on it in this pic), then Iโll draw a long oval at the top of each wing, then draw lightly curved lines, I usually do 2 or 3, which will give you 3 or 4 little pocket things (idk how to describe it), and for the bottom, I kind of just do whatever ๐๐
