((Here comes Part 22 to save you all...or will it😏)) But just as Chat Blanc's hand was reaching to give Hawkmoth Ladybug's Miraculous, his eyes reverted back to green. He saw Ladybug's cold, dead body lying on the floor in the moonlight, her earrings in his fist. He saw Hawkmoth's greedy expression, looking at his ring. He saw his suit, turned white and akumatized, and that was when he finally broke down. "YOU DID THIS!" he screamed at Hawkmoth, running straight toward the energy field, suit turning black again. "YOU MADE ME KILL HER! ALL OVER A STUPID PIECE OF JEWELRY? ALL OVER SOME DUMB WISH? CATACLYSM!" he roared, disintegrating the shield into dozens of butterflies. "YOU'LL PAY FOR ALL YOUR CRIMES! EVERY CORNER OF THIS PLANET WILL NEVER BE SAFE FOR YOU! YOU WILL DIE ALONE, FRIENDLESS, WITH NO MERCY!" Hawkmoth scrambled backwards, wielding his staff in an attempt to evilize him once more, but Chat was in too deep. He downed the villain with one punch, feeling his nose break from the impact. Still Chat advanced. "Nooroo, Dark Wings, fall." As Hawkmoth's disguise disappeared, Chat fell to his knees. "Da-Gabriel?" he stuttered, angry and confused. "I know it's you, Adrien. I've known since Simon Says attacked me. I became Hawkmoth for a reason, son." He held out a small golden locket, handing it to Chat Noir. "Mom." he whispered, tears flowing down his cheeks as he saw the picture. "If I have the Miraculous, we could bring her back. She could live with us. We'd never have to be separated ever again." Gabriel said. Chat looked at the picture, thinking of all the memories he'd had with his mom. But this didn't excuse what Gabriel had done at his expense. "You killed an innocent girl." he whispered. "You killed the one part of Paris that made us truly peaceful. All for a woman who's been gone for years. All of those attacks- the deaths, damages, stress-it was all your fault. Nothing will ever excuse that." Chat Noir stepped up to his father, clasping his claws around his neck and lifting him into the air. "You have committed too many crimes to count, killed off innocent civilians just to resurrect one person, forced the Guardian to choose new superheroes to protect Paris from you. You deserve nothing but hardship, especially after ABANDONING YOUR ONLY CHILD FOR YOUR OWN WORLDLY DESIRES!" he screamed, voice cracking. He slammed Gabriel onto the ground, knocking him out cold, and walked away to Ladybug's side. "Ladybug." he whispered, grasping her hand. "Ladybug, wake up. Wake up. wakeupwakeupWAKEUP!" he sobbed, tears dripping from his mask onto her gray face. "Please, Bugaboo, wake up! I'll never make fun of you again, or call you just a friend. I'll stop making cheesy puns and kissing your hand. I'll even protect your identity! But you have to wake up. Stay with me, please! Please, Mari, please, don't leave me alone in this place! I can't do it by myself, not without your confidence and charm and luck and joy. I need you more than anything, just wake up! Don't be dead." he cried, "Don't be dead." In a desperate last attempt, he childishly put one of her hands on his hair, holding it tight. "Flower, gleam, and glow, let your powers shine, make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt, change the Fates' design, save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine..." More tears fell as his hand clutched hers. "What once was mine." He stared at her face, waiting for a sign of life, of movement, of breath, but nothing happened. "I love you. I love you as Chat and Adrien, no matter if you're Marinette or Ladybug. You'll always be the only one I'd do anything for." He leaned down and gently kissed her pale lips, hugging her lifeless body in his arms as he wept. In his clenched fist, the ring and earrings glowed white, surrounding Ladybug with black energy as Chat's lips met hers. Her body became alive again, her skin returning to its normal shade of color, her heart beating and lungs breathing.
