As Marinette, you'd always stutter and jump whenever I mentioned you or talked to you, which was strange at first but became endearing. As Ladybug, you were flirty, but not willing to accept my compliments and offers. I tried to make you fall for me, but what I hadn't realized was how dedicated you become when you care about someone. You never forgot my birthday, always showed up to patrol on time, and spent entire nights in a hospital to ensure that I was okay. Remember when you stood proudly on the Eiffel Tower after purifying hundreds of akumas, and challenged Hawkmoth to even dare to take our Miraculous? I looked at you, and said, "Whoever she is under that mask, I love that girl." I love you for so much more than a mask. I fell in love with your personality, your strength, and your willingness to make things right. "When I say 'I love you', I'm not talking about some high school crush. I want to take you out to fancy restaurants and goofy movies. I want to protect Paris with you as my partner. I want to run my company with you as head of design, because your talents aren't one to be passed up. I want you, because no king can run a kingdom without a queen by his side. Marinette Dupian-Cheng, will you do me the honor of being my one and only girlfriend?" he asked politely, bending down on one knee. Ladybug was stunned. Even with the kisses, the hugs, the jokes, and her memory back, she didn't expect this level of, well, respect. She'd seen so many boys only date girls for the...benefits. But Adrien wanted someone who would love him like a best friend, protect him like a sibling, and fight alongside him like a partner. He wanted a soulmate. And to that, Marinette would gladly say yes. "Of course, Chat Noir." she said, pulling him up. "I believe we have some things to take care of." As they swung off of the Tower, they were unaware that a man was watching them go. "I told you they were meant for each other." Master Fu said to his kwami. "Why did you leave?" Wayzz asked. "They needed to develop the last bond between them. That look into each other's heads, it signifies order and chaos. With both comes balance, and with balance comes love. Those two are meant for each other." he said. "I don't regret giving them the Miraculous at all." Chat and Ladybug landed back at the hospital, where a nurse was waiting. "Did you see Marinette? Half of the staff has been looking for her!" he said, panicked. "I'm sure she's only in her room." Ladybug replied calmly. "I'll go check." As she walked into her room, Ladybug detransformed into Marinette, paging the nurse. "Miss Dupian-Cheng, you cannot simply wander the halls like this!" the nurse said, irritated. "I understand. But something happened as I was taking my walk. I remembered." Upon hearing this, the nurse ran to get the doctors and Chat, who had been standing outside for a while. "You remember everything?" the doctor asked, sitting by the bed. "I guess all I needed was a little...chat." Marinette said, smiling at Chat Noir.

I'll see prompts on Pinterest where a character dies, and without fail, I'll turn it into a dream 😂 you really understand how to grip a reader from the first word and never let them go. Even when there's no action, there's the continual thought of "what's next?" in the reader's mind. You're very talented. 😊
