happy valentine’s day everyone!! i have two reasons for the arrow in my pic. first, i’ve seen a lot of posts where people are putting themselves down for being single or insisting they won’t find happiness, whether it be bc of looks or otherwise. i wanted to let you all know that valentine’s day isn’t just for celebrating couples and whatnot, but loving yourselves too!

for those of you who put yourselves down bc of your looks, you’re beautiful and you have no reason to compare yourself to others! the traits you find yourself disliking may be the ones others love you for! freckles, acne, scars, wrinkles, moles, fat, even body hair— all of those are normal and i can guarantee that there will be people who love them because it makes up who you are! there’s nothing to be ashamed of!

for those who put yourselves down for mistakes you’ve made in the past, thats all they are, mistakes! mistakes help you learn sure, but they shouldn’t be things that drag you down and solely define who you are! today i want you to forgive yourselves for anything you’ve blamed yourself for and realize how incredible you are beneath your past choices!

and the other reason for the arrow on my pic is less pleasant— i’m taking another break. my advanced classes are completely overwhelming me again and coloring pics are just taking too much of my time. i promise i’ll come back though! i love y’all too much to be away for too long, but either way, i hope you guys can bear with me until my work load gets lighter! just fyi this will be my last post for awhile 🥲
