Hello friends! 2019 was a difficult year for myself and my daughter. In January of 2019 she was told she had breast cancer. She endured 6 five hour chemo sessions, had double mastectomies in June, another 3 more surgeries and has to get infusions every three weeks. On the 25th November, her 4th surgery, she is now cancer free. With the support of her husband, teenage children, family, many friends and prayers, God has answered many prayers. Grateful I live close by. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

4 years agoAlso, I had surgery for a broken femur bone that had not healed properly and a full knee replacement. Five months of Physical therapy and I am doing well. The Lord has been close by and watched over each of us. Therefore with all that took place in 2019, I am way behind on viewing galleries, posting pictures and look forward to catching up this year! Wishing many blessings to each of you, my dear Recolor friends.

4 years agoBless you, Dorothy! How wonderful that your daughter is now cancer free after enduring so much!! I’ve had full knee replacement and can’t imagine going through that AND a broken femur! May 2020 bring you all good health and much happiness, my friend. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️

My situation was difficult but I was so focused on her that my surgery and recovery was minor. You are an awesome lady. Love your art. Yes praying for good health an moving forward in 2020. I am very glad to know your daughter won the fight & is now cancer free! I know how painful it was to you too. God is good! My daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago, at age 43. She too had a double mastectomy, 26 rounds of chemo 32 rounds of radiation, & a 12 hour surgery for lympnode replacement & reconstruction. Still has one minor surgery left, but life is a huge struggle for her, but she pushes on and makes huge attempts to make life the best it can be for us.
