1 year agoItโs kind of complicated~ and I only have one chapter done soโฆ but lemme try to explain it
So thereโs another planet that orbits the sun kinda behind earth (donโt have a name for this other planet yet lol so weโll call it Planet 2 for now ๐) so it has the same length of year and stuff but is a couple months behind on when the seasons change
The ppl of Earth actually donโt know it exists, but the ppl of Planet 2 are educated on earth and its technology and stuff (bc Planet 2 doesnโt rlly-

My main character, Iliana, is an apprentice mage on Planet 2 and her mom was executed ~ burned ~ by mage fire bc she had a twin on Earth but she kept it hidden from the rulers of Planet 2, which is illegal and the law abt it was kinda obscure bc they donโt normally kill ppl, ya know? Sheโs kinda struggling bc her mom was her favorite person~ she doesnโt know who her dad was~ when she learns that the guy she loves, who she pretends not to love bc sheโs-

1 year agoscared of commitment ~ heโs a guard so heโs in dangerous situations a lot~ has been hurt by magic
So she helps take the remaining magic out of the wound, but magic wounds canโt heal properly and are fatal on Planet 2 bc of all the magic in the air
She takes him to her aunts house on Earth (the moms twin) and most of the ppl there are jerks but she has to say for him~ his name is Kameron
And sheโs one of the most powerful mages on Planet 2, but sheโs afraid of the public spotlight having-

1 year agopower comes with, so she hides the full extent of her magic from her teacher. But it gets harder for her to control when sheโs emotional, so sheโs kinda having a hard time on Earth
And no one there, except for Kam and her aunt, know the truth of who she is, where she lives, they know basically true nothing about her
So yeah thatโs where Iโm at rn~ I donโt have the end for sure figured out at the moment, but I think (if I get around to writing it lol) sheโll end up becoming a ruler of-

I spent literally hours researching names~ but her momโs name was Bronwyn, the twin is Ciara, and the only one of her cousins that is a decent human is named Lyrica
Ugh tell me about it can imagine so many diff endings for this but I gotta get past chapter 1 first lol

Iโve read that sometimes itโs easier to start writing backwards instead of chronologically? Idk if that would work for you
