Well In sixth grade my friend was very good at drawing and introduced me to anime type drawing.. at the time I did not know that was a genre of books and tv shows... I thought it was a type of drawing (which it technically is 😂) I wanted to be as good as him so I started drawing and watching all different types of tutorial vids to draw.... I constantly got picked on for drawing in that style... anime.... I just took it as, “you are not good at drawing.” And not, “anime is stupid.”

5 years agoI was determined to be better. I went through many types of styles.... in seventh grade I got bullied and stuff went down hill (I don't want to get into it) but I was quote on quote, depressed.... I would spend time alone in my room drawing edgy **** and that.... eighth grade came around and I was better, had friends.... and developed a new style and I was known as the most positive and enthusiastic and kind/ quite kid in school..... a year later... my style of drawing now
