4 years agoCool! Iβm still an amateur so I donβt really have my suggestions for your art lol. Uhh requests hmmm, Iβm working on an OC right now too, and I saw you drew a cloak once! Any tips on how to do that?

I guess I never really do anything with them besides sketch out their designs so I just kinda leave them nameless. But if anyone has name suggestions Iβll for sure write it down!

4 years ago@Droidmind ooh fun! For tips on cloaks I would say definitely learn how to draw different folds and wrinkles to show the flow of the clothing, in cloaks/ capes most of the lines will be going down following the pull of the fabric. Also, the bottom of capes and cloaks is never going to be just a straight line! It kinda curves over itself if itβs hanging down or blowing to one side, so the bottom edge would be sort of overlapping on itself with curves and folds if that makes sense!

4 years agoI love this! So, I saw you mentioned you donβt name your characters, but do you ever give them personalities or non-physical characteristics? Heh, sorry for my bizarre question, being an artist just seems like a totally different world from being a writer.

I guess it mostly depends on the character... like for the dnd wizard character I posted the last two pics of, he definitely has a personality I made up because I like to draw him so often and I spent time on coming up with a backstory and personality and stuff.But most of the time Iβm just sort of designing random people and clothes, so I wonβt really give them any personal traits unless I end up with something I feel like I can do something with if that makes sense?
