Oh my goodness, t! This is one of the most beautiful images ever! Might be one of my favorite RC colorings of all time! Stupendously done! Again, I’ve been off RC for a month...this stuff is drivin me nutso, lol. I do believe I will get back to a more regular pattern after Xmas and am trying now. You have a difficult anniversary coming up in just a few days but I hope that this Christmas will be better for you and your family somehow in SPITE of this horrid pandemic. Yes, its the 15th...unreal its been a year already, seems like yesterday...and the pain is just as, if not more intense...ugh! I had a bunch of momentos made for the family.....tags with her picture/her own words and handwriting...had 15 made for the family and will be passing them out tomorrow...porch drop offs...with cookies...actually staying home for the holidays seems fitting....it would be very hard to celebrate as we do with her gone...cont....@🌳Brenavere🌳

Aww, you are so sweet, t! How could I forget this? We’ve had too many conversations about this! *hug* I certainly understand staying home, for many reasons in your case. We are staying home, too, in spite of all the others right here on the ranch. I wish like heck family could be trusted but the fact is I have friends I trust more, lol. And your idea with the tags, and porch drop cookies....genius and super fun! I may steal that idea and do that on the ranch here!

In response to your question about hubs, some good (ish) news there, lol. His spine injection didnt’ help at all that the spine surgeon gave him. We left there despondent and that evening Kent told me he was frustrated because he didn’t think the doctors were actually listening to him and that he had a follow up appt with the orthopedist the next day. I told him to tell Dr. T that very thing. He did and Dr. T listened and felt obligated to do some more standard X-rays. He was shocked, as

.....they showed something completely different than the X-rays only 6 months earlier. The ball part of his hip was completely flat on top after having been worn down from the bone against bone. Poor Kent, never complaining, working every single day in that condition. My heart has hurt so for him. Dr. T came back to his exam room with big googley eyes and said he was scheduling a total hip replacement in Feb. Earliest he could do it. So instead of 3 months flat on his back from spine

...surgery and a year of rehab to walk again, he gets one night in the hospital and they will have him standing up same day and begin walking some immediately. We are so relieved. I mean the surgery will be nothing compared to the last several months and in fact, years that he has had trouble. He’s 6’3”....but his right leg is now more than an inch shorter than his other so he walks like Quasimodo. Fitting, as we have indeed climbed the stairs to the bell tower in Notre Dame in Paris, lol.
