Beautidul,t! cant wait for 2020! Update: Kent's hip fractured in ved yest. Ambuka ce took him ih nto town a out 6 yest. orn. i cant see him. All beds are full. They have him still in ER and until he has a room I cannot go in. We were just 2 days away from surgery tomorrow. Think I can go in for that, at least. This crap is finally start to wear me down. K'recovery is going to take much longer than the average hip replacement patient. he doesn't get to come home the next day, wks in rehab hosp.

3 years agosorry for the typos...his hip fractured in bed. they cant get his blood chem corrected but we are hipeful that will happen before his scheduled surgery to.orrow. there is SO much more to this than I can divulge here on RC, its just too private and since I dont have an email address for most of my friends here its hard to explain.

3 years agoHello B!!!! OMG....thanks, with all thats going on, taking the time to write!!! Can't believe his hip fractured in bed...how scary!!!! Gosh, good luck tomorrow hoping surgery goes well...and...sorry to hear K wont be able to come home and will require weeks in the hospital/rehab...ugh....you're soooo strong...just think forward to the day when K will be able to feel more normal...take each day one at a time my friend and I am here for you when you need okay??? cont...@🌳Brenavere🌳

Americans letting covid rule!! They don't want to give up their lives...my cousin was at her daughters with 5 housholds, 18 people on christmas day! 3 years agoHey, C! Am up and hustling to get out of here for K’s surgery this mornin! His surgeon popped in late last night and told Kent he’d never seen an x ray like Kent’s after he was brought into ER. The temporal head, or ball, of his femur had, in one movement while in bed, completely crumbled and disintegrated, he was shocked. So the surgery is now a grand imperative. Kent looks good, is in good spirits, as always, smiling and joking and excited for the surgery. Will update later!

I finally met the surgeon, love him muchly, and I am in a cozy nook, all alone in front of an HD tv which they tuned to a station I like, lol. I expected great care for Kent at this beautiful amazing hospital but I wasn’t expecting to be catered to myself. Great people here! And also here on RC, like you! I agree, the dr seems very interested in K’s case and I have not had an uncomfortable moment while in the waiting room...well until ..

3 years agoI embarrassingly toppled over a full Dr. Pepper (breakfast of CHAMPIONS, baby!) and have been sneaking wet paper towels from a nearby bathroom to clean it up without notice. So far, I have succeeded, lol. Kent’s doing really good, altho more damage to the pelvis was found that what he expected so it’s gonna take a bit longer than the 2 hrs he thought it would. But all is going great, so I’m great too!!! I’m so relaxed in fact, that I believe I will begin coloring an import while I wait.

Just finished making shrimp cocktail and a tiramisu for tomorrow...lol about your spill....clean up in stelth mode...lol....sorry they found more pelvis damage...hopefully not too bad...soooo glad you're relaxed and comfortable with the surgeon and hospital....makes all the difference!! I'll be checking in throughout the day....@🌳Brenavere🌳
