so i just finished my new favorite book & 2/3 of my favorite characters violently died 😭😭😭
i dramatically gasped & may have cried 😔🔫

but the book is “the lord of the flies” if you’re wanting to cry soon 👀 it’s a bit of an original though, so you may already know it. i got so frustrated & upset while reading it 😭😭

so the book came out in 1954 & is centered around this british group of boys who plane wrecked on this island with no adults to keep them in line.
power is fought between this two boys named jack & ralph. as times goes on, neither of them can come to an understanding, which makes them split. this leads to my favorite character being murdered by jack’s tribe & his body was swept away into the ocean 😭 @.𝐧𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚.

3 years agoanother character also falls off a cliff & dies, which made me sOB, but yeah. that’s pretty much it. it’s lots of death & misunderstanding.
