Hello everyone! Today we have some very gorgeous Layerwings for you! These are all designer breeds, so if you want to know more information about your new pet, please wait before adopting so I can list the information! Also, for those of you who missed these, I’ll have a couple clutches of eggs for anyone who wants them! Layerwings are great companion animals, like birds, but less noisy and easier to care for. I will make another post in a bit explaining care for Layerwings, with pictures!

Long-necked, striped dark teal with tan wings (taken)
Short necked, splattered lavender with mint wings (taken)
Long bodied-short tailed azure with dark blue tiger stripes and orange wings (taken)

3 years ago@🍋Lovely_LittleLemonShark🍋 Aaaaaaa maybe! I just did a ton of adopts but, I also have a couple Layerwings who were rescued from some homes where they were not cared for properly. Once I get them to not be so scared of humans anymore, I’ll put them up for adoption and let you know. However, this will probably happen after the batch of egg adopts I posted hatch.

3 years agoAny tips for drawing WOF? I used to do it all the time but I’m out of practice, and it’s making me frustrated

3 years ago@🍋Lovely_LittleLemonShark🍋 Reference, reference, reference. I always have a picture next to me when I’m drawing the dragons. (Icewing and Mudwing head ridges are still a *pain*, so I’ll occasionally trace the bare minimum for the sketch layer just to get the right shape in there.) Also, practice a lot.
That’s really it, I guess. I honestly feel like one day I just woke up, looked at a reference, and went ‘ok! I can draw these now!’

3 years agoHaha I’ve been doing WOF since like...4th grade but I stopped to do more like broader dragon drawings and more macabre art but I miss my babies (I ship moon and Qibli) but i haven’t read like the two newest books
