So sorry, I Can’t comment right now. I need prayers, my stepdad (dad) is dying. I’m beside myself. Just know I may not be commenting right now. I’m going to see him the first of May ❤️. He is the most amazing preacher & dad I’ve ever known. My heart is breaking, for my mom she is devastated. Prayers needed 🌺

I am saddened by the news of your stepdad. I don’t know the words for your Mom because words won’t make her better. My husband died in 2011 at 62 years old. He was sick and his body was badly diminished, but I always had hope until the stroke in his brain, bleeding. It was easier to say goodbye when he couldn’t care for himself, couldn’t talk and stroke in esophagus. We read to him from the Bible, he rededicated himself to God , kissed me and said he would see me when it was my time.

He quit dialysis, drank water at Hospice even a few spoons of ice cream. Hospital wouldn’t give water, ice or anything. He made the decision to quit and he lived only 2 days. Of course it was awful, but I knew it was his time and heaven welcomed him. In a few months, I was ok. I still miss him terribly. But maybe one day you and she could talk about his illness, his love of family and his goodbye. I don’t know if that helped you. I will pray each day for him. Blessings. Hugs. Cyndee

If you can afford it, my suggestion is go, be with him while you can. My dad told us kids to come visit him while he was alive not at his funeral. Much more important to see him now. If you can’t afford it, maybe Mom could help. Just a suggestion. Prayer, Honey, that Dad has a recovery and bounces back so he can enjoy what time God gifts him. Hugs🙏✝️❤️
