Read your note on my gallery.... I do t know weather to laugh or cry. The week before we were set to drive with our pets to the new Apartment my Mom had some sort of serious medical crisis. The docs at the hospital told my sister “she’s old, she must have an advanced cancer, we’ll send her to a nursing home” which of course was locked down. I had seen Mom 2 weeks earlier and she was her bubbly, dancing, makes me crazy self.

3 years agoSo after talking to hubby I told my sister to go “Spring Mom” from the rising home and take her to our new apartment. OMG! She was a shell of herself curled up in bed saying just leave her to die. Well, a couple of great specialists later we have her up doing pt, recovering her strength so she can find a new independent living apartment in our area. She’s driving me nuts now which means she’s back to herself 😂😂 Sis and her hubby get her to live with them In 3 days!

3 years agoShe should have selected a new place and we’ll get her moved in late August. Whew. She has a rare rheumatoid condition that does strike people down in a matter of days. Thank goodness for one doc who stuck with us and looked for the source of the change. So..l we still have about 25% of our stuff sitting in the rental house in AZ 😬🙄🥴 Hubby used up all his vast store of sick leave to stay here and help care for Mom. He officially retires on July 30th. Hoping to do the final move then

3 years agoWay more than you needed to know right? It’s been so crazy there Just is t a quick answer. I need to rebuild my strength, this has pushed me to the limit and beyond. 3 years agoOh wow Tee, you’ve been thru the wringer...especially w/your Mom! How crazy of a time things were already, then throw that into the mix & it becomes down right scary & surreal I bet! To have seen her only 2 weeks earlier where she’s fine then bring her to a Dr who’s telling you it must be advance cancer and the “she’s old” was pretty insensitive...ship her off -it’s time or what?! That’s nuts! Tho no comparison but it reminds me if taking my dog I had just under a yr b4 I met Eddie then we had

3 years ago👆🏻kids & she was the beloved family dog & we took her to a discount weekend mobile vet for shots update & the stupid vet said in front of my young kids then “How old is she” 8 I said “oh you’d be lucky to get another year out if her!” WTF well guess what she live 17 days shy of her 14th Birthday & it would of been longer but she drowned cuz the stupid neighbor didn’t help her when she lost her site & was hitting her head into the car as she got free & was blind from diabetes we didn’t know she👇🏻

3 years ago👆🏻But treated it just fine and she was still happy but she got loose that day when we weren’t home & the neighbor watched her by his own admission for over an hour saying “I wondered why she keep running into the car -well she rembered the river but gelled if of stair getting out we think. Anyways that’s a tangent lol but it’s crazy what some drs bedside manner is like. I am glad you sprung her and had a dr follow thru with figuring out this illness & being able to treat it fir a complete 👇🏻

3 years ago👆🏻turnaround...YAYYYY & like you said if she’s diving you crazy then she’s back to her old self haha and how wonderful too! That was good you had your hubby able to take sick leave. Man tho with all that going on AND your move you head had to be spinning and we all know our bodies take a tool when there’s emotional crisis too. May you get that recharge next to a pool w/Recolor ASAP 😂👍🏻! It won’t be long before the hubby retires too. I wish mine could!. He’s still working hard they have him doing👇🏻

3 years ago👆🏻about 3-4 people’s jobs after furloughing a bunch of the staff. Unfortunately he’s going to have to rake off time for 2 surgeries 1st-from the OM(eye cancer he had the tumor has leaked so they will need to vacuum out the blood and a cataract has developed they’ll have 2 specialist drs in there doing the surgery and he’ll need to be off for at least 2 week’s not lifting anything so no 👇🏻

3 years ago👆🏻pressure in the eye. Then he’s having a stint put into a roped vein or it goes in the artery I really need to find out but he’s just mentioned it -into his leg the one he had sepsis in earlier thus year. With 2 surgeries he’s so afraid that they will try to furlough him and thoid love having him home w/me we’d lose our insurance which we can’t afford to lose it he’s on it I’m on it and 2 if our kids are so it’s important he remains working. I’ve had my new dr not mentioned parasites yet 2 👇🏻
