@TracyNWOregon🌲 I'm afraid I wouldn't be a very good sister wife, or a very good wife (for him) for that matter. In the state of Utah it's illegal to marry more than one person at a time or say that you have more than one wife, but they don't go after people unless there's child abuse or some other felony. They did that once but it was a public relations disaster. But they left Utah right after the show started & now live in Colorado. But giving them the show imo probably did a huge service

@TracyNWOregon🌲 for people who got a not so pretty glimpse into a polygamous household. Even though there was no abuse like we see & hear about (Warren Jeff's, etc) it was still a good snapshot into the misery these people live in & I think the mission they had in the beginning, to normalize polygamy & make it legal, has backfired in spectacular fashion. As a matter of fact, 3 of the women have left & none of the children will choose polygamy.

@jenniT The women in those kinds of relationships usually grew up in that community & religion. These women did (except for one) but three of them have left him now & I imagine it'll (Polygamy in general) continue to decline with time until it's no longer a thing.

@Jane Doe Awesome! I know they tried some other sister wives type shows, but I think they failed. I am baffled about the "Moon shiners" show and street outlaws or whatever it is, too. Those are on Discovery. I prefer wholesome shows like popping pimples, surgeries, nasty feet ...lol. Actually I LOVED "The Little Couple." I miss that show. Will and Zoey were so sweet and they were all so inspirational.

@TracyNWOregon🌲 There were several polygamy shows but none caught on like Sister Wives did. I was baffled about the Moon Shiners thing too but I think it's legal in their state as long as you buy a permit & they do that & pretend to be running from the law. That's just a guess though because I've never watched it. I love the same shows you mentioned. I loved The Little Couple too. I saw a clip where Jen was saying they may be coming back soon though. The kids are teenagers now, Will is anyway

@Crystal 🇨🇦 Thank you 😊 I was worried about whether it looked like him or not. They're filming next season's episodes now, and I'm thinking they'll be able to squeeze another couple of seasons out of Janelle leaving him. It's been a huge money maker for TLC last season & this one. Who knows about new wives. I don't think it'd work because ppl have emotional investments in these women. I guess we'll see.
