How did you get the water effect to look so real? And how did you start this?

@Meh_da nerdykid I started with a black background then began drawing in the dots in the back, using a brighter color as I moved forward. For the water in the umbrella I started with a few dots, then made the drops running down. I used a soft crayon to make a line running from the drop following the angle of the umbrella. I used the background color to thin and dim the lines as it moved up. Let me know what I need to clear up, that explanation is a bit messy!

@Meh_da nerdykid I also decided my colors before starting. The skin went through a lot of changes before it matched the lighting, so when I know there will be a more intense light source I start with a darker color than I plan to end up with.

The most difficult part was probably getting the lighting on her skin right, but the most time consuming part was definitely dotting in the drops. Iโm really glad you like the way it turned out! @Meh_da nerdykid
