5 years agoI thank you all so much for posting back as well as your prayers and concerns. We are in the middle of saving our daughters life. She is only 32 years old, and looks as old as I am. She got pregnant at the young age of 15 and so much has gone down hill from there. She got mixed up with several boys that got her hooked on drugs. Very bad and hard drugs. This is one of the reasons why my daughter has stayed away from me from anger. She needed a place to stay when her daughter was three years old.

5 years agoWe let her move back home, but we found out they had drugs. When we went into their upstairs rooms we found her and her boyfriend totally spaced, a room full of smoke and my granddaughter by herself. I'm almost sorry to say that yes, I called the police. I needed to save my child's life. They were let go but my daughter told me she wanted nothing more to do with me. They left but things continued to get worse. The state took her daughter but told her if she quit the drugs she could get her back.

5 years agoMy daughters comment was she liked her drugs and they made her feel good. Since then, the drugs have done much damage. She now has a pacemaker at the age of 32 because she's been having seizures which caused some brain and heart damage. Doctors are not willing to help her anymore if she persists with the drugs. According to the heart monitor they had on her at the time, her last seizure shut her heart down for 63 seconds. She's lucky to still be alive. Since then they put in the pacemaker,

5 years agoBut told her there was nothing else the can do for her. It has taken us and her brother many attempts and days to convince her she still has a now 16 year old daughter that still loves her mommy. She needs special help and to clean herself up or she will die. We finally now have her in a dry out ward where she will remain for six months. It's her only choice between life, death and or prison. I am not sorry for the choices I've made throughout this entire ordeal. I refuse to sit back and watch

5 years agomy children deliberately try to end their lives like this. I have put her entirely into the Lords hands, because I know there is nothing more I can do. I'm not even allowed to raise my granddaughter because my daughter signed papers years ago, that I'm not even allowed near the child. I've never experienced such deep hurt as this in my life. The state owns her till she is of age. That is my story, and I pray none of you ever have to experience this. May the Lord find a way to end this drug war.
