After my dad passed in Nov., I would spend every evening with my mom after work teaching her all the things my dad did that he never wanted to burden her with. We were doing great until the Covid virus. It pains me that I can't help her daily. My office was shut down manditorially. 4 years agoCont. dangerous jobs. Spinning saliva at 350,000rpm 8 inches away from the patients mouth makes all the protective wear in the world pretty useless. There are some Endodontists and Oral Sx staying available after a phone screening or referral from us. It took less than 4 weeks to bankrupt my business account. There was no SBA or PPP 7a Loans to be found. I own the business so even though I pay UI in every paycheck to myself, it disqualified me from CA EDD UI subsidies. It won't take much ....

4 years agoCont. longer and my savings will be gone. Our governor realized this was happening and on the 28th there may be an opportunity to help Individually owned corps (like myself) and sole proprietors to get some relief. My family is healthy . My brother in law had it and made it through. How my sister didn't get sick, I don't know. When or if you come back. I'll look forward to hearing from you. Until then, my friend, take care. 🌹💕🌹
