Absolutely stunning. Your highlighting is coming along incredibly well. Lovely skin texture. It’s quite difficult to do these - very challenging but so rewarding when you come up with a result like this. With hair I always start with a dark base colour using solids rather than gradients from the colour palette. I put the shine in using crayons in a lighter colour. I think it looks more natural that way. Just my humble opinion of course. I think the hairline blends up to the skin better. Bravo 👏

@antoniasc 🇳🇿🇫🇷 Thank you so much! I enjoyed having lighter lines on her face so I could practice sculpting her face with crayons. I also liked how the lines were dark enough in her hair so I could fill it in with a color I made. I purposely put contrasting lights & darks next to each other to create an ombré effect. I look forward to trying your hair coloring suggestions for a future portrait! Thanks! 🥰💜💚🌿💐🌿💜💚💛

@Student of Life🇨🇦 Thanks so much for your beautiful comment! I learned how to lighten the lines of a Recolor picture so you can practice shading & sculpting her face with crayons. On this one I was still able to fill in her hair with my own color. @antoniasc 🇳🇿🇫🇷 explains how to do this.
