3 years agoThank you for your kind words, you said your colors turn out muddy with your imports..what does this mean..I’m curious. I’m going to ask you about a ability that you have and that’s how you outline in black, I outline but when I use black I screw it up..yours looks like it belongs. We all have talents, you can see this with many of the colorist on this app...i enjoy your work very much....🧡🧡🧡🧡

3 years ago@Yin&Yang Thank you very much! So the way I see it is when I do ‘forward’ coloring, then what I see as I add colors, is what I get. I usually don’t use the effects. When I do ‘backward coloring then I know that look that I am creating is not the final product. I have to add the effect, (in this case canvas) to see what adjustments have to be made. So the original mandala that I colored for this post is rather unappealing. It’s the effect that made it pretty, but that took planning. Hugs, 🤗♥️♥️🌺🌺

3 years ago@Catherine Thank you very much! When I import, I try to use as light a picture as I can but still see the details. When I color it, the colors aren’t always bright and vivid because I am coloring over gray tones.However when you color an import, your colors are always bright & I can almost feel all the textures. How do you do that? Did you ever paint? You are very talented! 🥰♥️When I add black lines to a picture, (ex. adding hair) I zoom in close to get thinner lines& don’t use the darkest black😊
