2 years ago@HollyDE ๐ผ๐ My son purchased the Oculus Quest 2 which at $299 for 128GB is an excellent price for this experience. I had to โparachuteโ sitting down because it was so realistic that I got dizzy (watching 360โข video through headsets). The experience immerses you in the video with all the accurate perspectives which is what allows you to feel like youโre there as you turn around. When you look down you can see how far the camera was above the ground & it makes you dizzy but exhilarated! ๐โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ

2 years ago@HollyDE ๐ผ๐ Direct sunlight ruins the lenses so you must cover them. He also bought a case, a cover for the lenses, &cover for portion of goggles that touches the face. It is easier to wipe off the sweat from all the people who use them. Itโs a tight fit & you want to cover that. Quest requires a Facebook account (so I wonโt get one, but waiting for Appleโs version next year) It is amazing! I am fortunate to have a good imagination & can already take myself to locations in photos but this is๐๐โฅ๏ธ

2 years ago@Suzi Q โ๏ธโ๏ธ The virtual reality experience was one of the most thrilling magical experiences that Iโve ever had. I watched several 360* videos created by people & posted on YouTube. As you turn around you see the scenery from all angles. I โvisitedโ a village in northern Iceland & saw the incredibly expansive scenery & moved my eyes upward to see the amazing Northern lights. Some extra things should be bought for protection (see โฌ๏ธmessage to Holly) TY for beautiful commentโฃ๏ธ๐โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ๐

2 years ago@KarenMay I definitely will be purchasing a VR headset next year. There are so many places on my bucket list that I know Iโll never see but you can really immerse yourself in these places with VR. This is like Bewitched & Harry Potter coming to life. It looks so real. I have since added more locations to my living room VR โtravelโ list. ๐โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ๐
