The most common causes of vertigo are inner ear infections or diseases of the ear such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, and Meniere's disease. ... It results in a severe bout of whirling vertigo that can last a day or more and sometimes includes hearing
I am experiencing it and have been diagnosed.
It makes you feel so out of control and nothing is real, such an uncomfortable feeling.
God Bless all that has had it. ๐น๐น๐น

Otoconia are small calcium carbonate crystals that are part of the balance mechanism. In BPPV, these crystals break loose from their normal attachments and are free to tumble around the inner ear. When the involved ear is suddenly put in a downward position, the otoconia stimulate part of the inner ear abnormally. This results in a brief but intense whirling vertigo..

Thank you for your wonderful support. I start into Vestibular therapy to move the crystal and to help me to adapt until it goes away. God bless you my close kind friends. Air hugs to you both. ๐น๐น๐น. @cma25 @PattyL.

@Posey God Bless your compassion and support, Posey. It is good to know we are never alone.... acknowledging adversity is not weakness, but strength in sharing. Have a great day my friend. ๐น๐น๐น
Sorry to hear this, my husband has lost some hearing and has Menieres disease. He has improved, but certain conditions can trigger relapses. May God help you improve quickly!๐๐๐

PATTIE There is an easy cure for that? It was discovered in Portland. My son who is a doctor know how to do it. It is a simple maneuver done slowly by an informed practitioner. You described the condition perfectly. My son did it once. It disappeared.
My email is nuts. I will find the name.
