Omg I had the identical African Grey when I lived in South Africa! He was fantastic and had a huge vocabulary! They are the best birds ever! Then my ex husband was cleaning the cage outside... the bird liked to be sprayed with water while he was cleaning the cage! They had their fun and then he lifted the cage... and it was not locked at the bottom... the bird flew away! I still mourn for that beloved bird! Life was not the same after that... (maybe that’s why he’s my ex husband?????) 😜😜😜
