Hello girls, guys, non binary folk and everyone in between. My name is Enira and today I drew Oliver's Spirit! (he/him) Here's Oliver's Spirit, the physical reincarnation of him after he kicks the bucket So here I go again, not posting for another week XD Some updates on my life: I've started going to therapy for my anxiety, I'm nervously awaiting to get the test scores back for my exams, and I've started learning Korean for no other reason then just because I could So fun fact, I actually drew this drawing BEFORE i started inktober, but since I didn't actually have plans to do inktober, I was going to post it. Then I decided to do inktober and forgot all about this 😃 Anyways, since Oliver is the Divinity of Plants, his form in the afterlife is just an amalgamation of rotting leaves and decaying plants, symbolising his deteriorating ties to his element and old life I was orginally going to give him longer hair but decided I liked the shorter hair better I love the like black vines growing on him and the look of the decaying leaves, but idk about the decaying flowers, they still look somewhat alive to me There was more to say about him but tbh I forgot,,, I really shouldve posted this when his lore and design was fresh in my mind a month ago 😅 Now that Inktober is over, I gotta start getting back into actual character design, and hopefully it wont be horrible Let's hope I don't dissapear for another week lol That's all for today, byeee!

This is great! I’ve always loved the look and symbolism of dead vines and I think the flowers are a nice touch! If you wanted to give them a more dead look, you could always try having it be more crumpled up and withered (though I understand it may be hard to depict that while still having it resemble a flower) I wonder what effects the death of a plant god would have on your world and what wacky connotations it could have. Stellar work once again!! ❤️

I love this!! I’m glad you have a therapist. I hope you like them! My little sister is learning Korean at taekwondo, and she, being six, is teaching 15-yo me some phrases 🤣 I once used her teachings to greet my gfs great-grandma!! And I love the character design!!!!

You're so kind!!!! <3 Yeah maybe, I think I have to practise drawing plants and flowers just by themselves more and then practise decaying plants Lol he died a very long time ago from when the actual story is set so people have gotten used to the plants dying extremely fast and most plants are artificial in Divinia (the story where Oliver is from) (Also sorry for the late reply, I only now just found time to reply to comments 😅)

I’m glad your therapist is nice!! Mine was but at the same time wasn’t? And yeah, my gf is Korean so her family is too, and her great-grandma only speaks Korean (and late replies are always ok!!)
