Floral Designing is just another extension of the Arts. It requires a lot more care and work, though, than just cleaning brushes or stringing a violin. It involves the care and maintenance of a perishable product. But for how much work it is, the rewards are many—like the beaming smiles on the faces of sweet senior citizen ladies who just happen to be celebrating their 88th birthday. Her son and his wife sent 88 yellow roses and their love across the miles. ❤️💐

@Magpie I was a florist for years until the economy tanked (07-08) then I went into Nursing. There were a lot of Valentine's and Mother's days, weddings and funerals. I wouldn't trade those days for anything, though. It gave me a lot of life experience. 💐
