@photobert Hey, girl!! I think the meteor shower is diminishing; it peaks on my nephew’s birthday, August 11. And I kid you not, I told Kent the other day that we should buy Gman (Gentry, our son) some really nice binoculars so he isn’t forced to constantly set up his telescope to view things. Although he wants a tracking device which attaches to the telescope and enables him to take crystal clear images of galaxies and planets and such... But....

@photobert But, yeah, I thought really killer new binocs would be a perfect gift as his birthday is Sept. 12, so coming up fast. He moved back to his apartment almost 4 weeks ago to begin his fall classes. Some are online, and frighteningly some are not..cuz you know..it’s TEXAS and we don’t behave down here or believe in pandemics *big ol’ eye roll*. So scary, I hope G is being careful.

@🌳Brenavere🌳 I’ve been researching and learning all about binoculars. But if you find a pair you think are good, would you let me know? I hope G stays safe. So many young people at universities are having maskless parties resulting in hundreds getting sick. Around here so many are maskless & don’t social distance, I’m surprised more aren’t sick. Or maybe they are? Hmmm...😁🦠🩺💊🔬🧪💉🩹

@photobert I’ll let you know but I’m not too hopeful we’ll be getting any for him as his dad doesn’t seem very interested in that particular gift. We don’t agree on much, lol, EVER! Gentry is not a big partying type of student and neither is his roommate.. I think that is, in part, due to the fact he is older than the average student. He turns 26, one of the oldest people in the Bobcat Band, lol. I think he finds most of the students rather immature and doesn’t socialize too much. Soooo...

@photobert With Gentry having Asperger’s Syndrome he’s pretty obsessive compulsive about some things and germs are one of those things, lol... He dons his mask, always, in fact not allowed on campus without one. So I hope he remains dedicated to stopping the spread. Now if we could just stop the overall spread of stupidity in this embarrassing country, I’d be a lot happier..lol.
