Just a friendly reminder that next Monday’s Mythical Creatures theme is the Selkie. (In Norse and Celtic mythology, selkies or "seal folk" are capable of changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin. The folk-tales revolve around female selkies being coerced into relationships with humans who steal and hide their sealskin. Male selkies are very handsome in their human form and have great seductive powers over human women. ) I hope you’ll join in, dear RC friends. 💙🦭🥰😘

Suzy, have you ever seen the American/Irish movie, The Secret of Roan Inish? It’s absolutely beautiful and magical. From Wikipedia: “It is centered on the Irish and Orcadian folklores of selkies—seals that can shed their skins to become human.” I loved it!
